It took a lot longer to deliver than it said on the site

I love this lighter. I purchased the Large Military (antique) model. I smoke cigars and love lighters. I have several lighter. Way more than I will ever need. Most are torch lighters. But I love old school flint and wick. I stumbled across this website through Facebook. Went to check it out. I have seen shell casing lighters in the past and have not been impressed by them. But I had never seen a design like this one. This one was different.

I am a lawyer by profession but an engineer by education. I love mechanical devices. I geek out over hand crafted tool. From the website, I thought this lighter might scratch that itch. But I was skeptical because I have been mislead by what looks great online. So I decided to give it a shot, not sure what to expect.

Once the box arrived, I knew the lighter would be special. You can tell a lot by the manner in which an item is packaged and shipped. It was immediately apparent this lighter was packaged with care. This was not thrown in a box and shipped out. This was an item hand crafted with pride and packaged with care. Loved the presentation. Absolutely loved it.

As I unwrapped the lighter, I was immediately struck with the craftsmanship, the precision, the detail, and the design. This thing is rugged, sturdy, tough, yet beautiful. I immediately returned to the website and watched the videos on how to fill and care for the lighter. GREAT instructional videos! I filled her up and gave her a flick. So satisfying!

I have had it a day but can tell you two things. One, this will be an EDC. Two, this will NOT be my last one ordered. IMO, the Large is the perfect EDC size. Not too much bigger than a standard Bic lighter. But I will be purchasing the largest version soon to use as a table lighter.

Love the product. Love the story of how this company came about. You have my admiration and you will have my business again. Well done! Well done!

I just received my lighter in the mail and I can't express enough how pleased I am with it! The entire experience was fantastic. I emailed Sword several times and he was prompt to respond and extremely accommodating with my request. I purchased a large size lighter with the "pirate finish" (blackened). I also had him engraved a custom image and phrase and it came out absolutely perfect!!! If you're on the fence about ordering one don't be.
